Q: How often do I need to log in to my MBA program course each week?

A: It is recommended that you log in to your online classroom on a daily basis. Most students log in to the course site at least three times per week.

Q: Do I have to log in to work on my MBA courses at specific times of the day?

A: No. The coursework within the Lynn online MBA is mainly asynchronous, meaning that there are no set meeting times unless special arrangements are made with the instructor.

Q: How many classes can students take at a time?

A: Students can take two courses at a time to be considered a full-time student or one course at a time to be considered a part-time student in our Standard Online MBA. Most students feel comfortable with the workload of two courses per term. Students with prior business experience may also be eligible for our 10-Month Online MBA and can complete their degree sooner.

Q: How quickly can I expect my instructor to answer any question I may have?

A: Your instructor will typically respond to your questions within 24 hours or less of receiving your message sent through Canvas or email. If for some reason they are traveling or this may be an issue, you will be notified by your professor in advance. Many professors respond within hours.

Q: If needed, am I allowed to take a break from the online MBA program?

A: Yes, you are able to take time off from your program. Simply do not register for courses that term and resume your enrollment the following term.

Q: Am I required to complete the program within a certain time frame?

A: Yes. Students must complete the degree in four calendar years from the date on their initial registration or may be held to any new degree requirements.

Q: Is a GMAT or GRE exam score required for admission?

A: No. Students do not have to take the GMAT or GRE in order to be admitted into the program.

Q: Do you accept international students?

A: Yes. Lynn University has students from 88 nations and 47 states. Lynn has the largest population of international students among universities of its size in the Southeast.
