Dr. Main (née Wolcott) specializes in industrial and organizational psychology. She has taught in both the psychology and management departments of the University of Central Florida and instructed fellow faculty on best pedagogical practices. As an organizational coach and consultant, she facilitates the success of start-up organizations seeking to scale, assisting them with the challenges associated with the process, developing leadership, strengthening team dynamics, and organizing and implementing HR systems. One of her clients received a deal from the sharks on Shark Tank, and another was able to exit his company for over $35 million.
Her main stream of research focuses on harassment and mistreatment in the workplace, and her dissertation, Not Woman Enough Harassment: An Integrated Model from Antecedent to Outcome, expanded the construct space for gender-based harassment to more fully capture all of the experiences women may face in the workplace. Her studies have been presented at national and international professional conferences and have been published in journals and books including the Journal of Organizational Behavior, Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice, and Global Corruption & Ethics Management.

Dr. Ellen Ramsey
Associate Professor
Dr. Ramsey began teaching on campus for Lynn University as an adjunct instructor for the College of Business and Management in 1994, after receiving her M.B.A. with a concentration in international business. She was one of the first professors to develop online courses in business and also became, as coined by Dr. Don Ross, Lynn University’s first “Triple Knight” after receiving all three degrees from her alma mater.
Teaching online since 2003, Dr. Ramsey believes it is crucial for the student in an online class to receive feedback and know that the professor can be reached at a moment’s notice. She has prided herself on returning emails usually sooner than expected to foster that connection for students, especially if they are new to the online learning environment.
Before completing her Ph.D., she was the director of research for a money management firm and also hosted her own financial talk radio call-in program, entitled Buy, Sell, or Hold. She is still active in providing occasional financial radio commentary as well as conducting research based on unique and proprietary analysis within the investment markets.
