Courney Bibby

I was born in Skokie, Illinois, which is a suburb just North of Chicago. I grew up in Lincolnwood, Illinois and moved down to Boca Raton in 1998 to begin college at Lynn University. In 2001, I graduated from Lynn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. At that time I was playing golf on the Lynn University Women’s Golf Team and still had one more year of eligibility to compete on the Golf Team. Thus, I continued to partake in golf, as well as further my education. In 2002, I received my Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Sports and Athletics Management. I graduated Lynn University in October 2007 with my Doctorate in Corporate Leadership so I suppose I may be considered a “Triple Knight!”. I have worked in the business and hospitality industries for 13 years. Much of my past experience centers on working as a manager in the country club industry. I currently work full time at High Ridge Country Club in Lantana, FL. My current capacity is as the Assistant Manager and my daily work at the Club entails managing the food and beverage operation and assisting in daily club functions including controlling departmental budgets, overseeing administration and operation of dining rooms, scheduling and planning outside events, coordinating dining services, directing training programs and recruiting staff, and planning and implementing strategies to exceed club member’s expectations. Prior to my work at High Ridge I coached the Lynn University Women’s Golf Team for 9 years. Away from golf and work I enjoy outdoor activities and travelling to places I have never been. I have taught undergraduate and graduate business courses for six years in the subjects of economics, marketing, brand asset management, human resource management, financial management, business communications, and international marketing. My approach to education centers on teaching theoretical concepts and applying such concepts to real world phenomenon. I always do my best to positively facilitate student learning and skill development. One of the main reasons I chose a career in education was so that I could inspire students to pursue personal initiative and to think independently by gaining a deeper understanding of ideas and theory. To that end, my approach in the classroom emphasizes the application of information and material into practice, which students may utilize professionally and throughout their lives after college. By making material relevant to students and current day situations, I find students grow increasingly motivated and interested in their learning.

Dr. Jeff Kimmel

Jeff Kimmel received his B.A in Sociology from the University of Arizona; M.B.A. in Finance from Nova Southeastern University; and D.B.A. in Marketing from Argosy University. He spent over thirty years working for a manufacturing company, that manufactured aluminum doors and frames as well as pre-fabricated buildings. During the almost 30 years he worked there, he worked and supervised all of the departments. From dealing with credit and collections on the accounting side; to order scheduling in the plant; to sales and marketing, he was able to become a generalist in management in all facets of running a business. After the business closed, he went into real estate, and also started doing financial management, marketing, and management consulting. He teaches classes across the entire Marketing spectrum, both at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. His teaching philosophy is to facilitate student learning by taking from the esoteric writing of textbooks and applying the concepts to real-world situations.

Dr. Johnny Morris

I coach senior executives, and their direct reports, regarding collation of data; how to analyze data to be presented to their board of directors, and management teams for implementation with global diverse stakeholders. Excellent customer value may be achieved when product quality, service quality, and value-based processes are in harmony and exceed customer expectations. Changes in diverse societies, markets, customers, competition, and technology around the globe have forced organizations to clarify their values, develop new strategies, and learn new ways of operating. I determine and research challenges within an organization’s business strategy, policy, markets, organization, and processes. I have extensive experience in assembling and analyzing all obtainable data; formulating recommendations for action; examining broader managerial and business implications; and collaborating with senior executives to establish the most appropriate course of action to ensure they receive the necessary leadership tools to properly implement all recommended strategies for fiscal success. I earned my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Capella University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Nova Southeastern University. I develop and teach curriculum and courses for the online environment. My course teaching expertise includes accounting, capstone, entrepreneurship, finance, leadership, management, organizational behavior, strategic management, and research courses.
